It is rightly said that "Hard times are sometimes blessings in disguise"; we can choose to see them as obstacles or as opportunities.
It all started with struggle of a man whose father was suffering from covid and he was roaming around in no clue for basic arrangements of vital medicines, injections, hospital bed and oxygen cylinder. Sagar Jain, who hails from a small town in MP had come to Bhopal for proper treatment of his father. Looking at the miserable situation in the hospitals he was deeply moved and decided to use his own experience to save other people's lives. He created an online group of people where everyone used to put the information and leads related to medical arrangements. This group was joined by Divya Indra Chatterjee, who are among the 2 founders of the NGO. Before joining the group, Divya was helping the people individually by arranging for blood donors in emergency cases. The 2 founders decided to register the team as an NGO and work selflessly for society. The group members started to grow in numbers and the team was available for 24/7 support for the needy patients. It is wonderful that how all of members of the team did not know each other from anyhere and yet were working as a team to help some stranger person. That's the beauty of social work: we gain by giving. The journey from 20 to 2500 plus has been awakening!
"Making that online group is the best thing I have done in my life! I did not have anything on mind back then but now when I see people getting inspired by me I feel it was meant to be. I feel responsible towards society and I make sure I work really hard to make a mark. I see that CPHD is bringing a positive impact on the people's life and that really makes me feel motivated to work selflessly for the society. My life has never been this positive and CPHD makes me a better person"

"I think everyone is born with some purpose in life and to not seek for it is not living to the fullest. I believe that magic happens, only if we truly believe in it. I am a believer. In school times when teacher used to ask everyone what do they want to become when they grow up, I had a hard time figuring it out and used to cover up saying I want to be a doctor. In reality my answer was different which I could not share due to fear of being judged. I want to become a HERO: not a movie star, but a hero who wins heart, who helps people, who spreads joy and inspire people wherever she goes. CPHD has proved to be a turning point in my life. It changed the definition of social work for me and gave me confidence to follow my dreams. Will always be grateful for this blessing"
