An initiative to talk about the lost dreams of mothers , the dreams which got buried under the pressure and responsibilities of family
It's important to recognise that mothers, like everyone else, have hopes and dreams beyond their roles as caregivers. CPHD started an initiative to talk about the lost dreams of mothers and create a space where mothers can openly discuss their dreams and aspirations without fear of judgment or guilt and learn the skills to achieve those.
Ultimately, it's important for society to recognise and value the contributions of mothers, not just as caregivers and nurturers, but as individuals with their own unique dreams and aspirations. "Ab Baari hai Maa ke sapno ki" aims at recognising the individuality of each mother and provide them a platform where they can resume their journey of self learning

Who says social work is tiring! Join us in "Go green with CPHD" where you will get laughter doses and meet new people. We believe in making social work a fulfilling activity where we all learn, grow and spread joy. Connecting with the nature is connecting wih yourself. We conduct weekly plantation drives where the volunteers plant the saplings, sing, dance and have fun networking with new people. By incorporating nature into our daily routines and making sustainable choices, we can not only improve our own well-being but also contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.
It's unfortunate that there are people who do not have access to the basic necessities of life such as shelter and warm blankets. With many successful blanket donation drives, we have been able to provide relief to more than 2000 homeless people across India, who were struggling with the shivering cold on streets. While we sleep in our homes with controlled temperature in our warm blankets, somewhere there is someone sleeping on the street in open who is not even aware whether he will survive the chilling night or not.
Till date we have successfully completed more than 1500 blood donations. Along with the emergency live blood donations, we also organise blood donation camps that are designed to make the donation process easy, safe, and convenient for donors, with trained medical professionals on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We are proud of the impact that our blood donation camps have had in the communities we serve and are committed to continuing to make a difference through our efforts. By participating in our camps, you can join us in our mission to save lives and create a better world for all.
India has unfortunately seen a rise in incidents of sexual assault and harassment in recent years, and it is essential for individuals to learn how to protect themselves in such situations. Our team collaborate with professionals to teach students basic physical techniques and strategies to defend themselves, as well as important verbal and non-verbal communication skills that can help prevent potential attacks from escalating. These workshops can help students develop a sense of confidence and empowerment, which can be invaluable in potentially dangerous situations.
It is particularly important for girls and women in India to have access to self-defense workshops, as they are often more vulnerable to sexual violence and harassment. By equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect themselves, we aim to more self-reliant and better able to defend themselves against potential threats.
It is unfortunate that in India we witness such a contrast between the abundance of food at the wedding functions/events and the reality of hunger faced by so many people in our society.
We need to recognise that access to food is a basic human right, and we all have a role to play in ensuring that everyone has enough to eat. By taking action to reduce food waste and support food donation, CPHD aim to make progress towards a more just and equitable society. CPHD team is one call away if you want the excess food to reach the hungry people rather go in drains.
According to Times of India about 146,133 people were killed in road accidents in India in the year 2016. The high number of deaths due to road accidents in India is a major concern, and it highlights the need for increased traffic awareness among all road users.
With the experimental campaigns CPHD Team educate people about road safety rules and regulations, such as wearing helmets and seatbelts, following traffic signals, maintaining safe speed limits, and avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you come across the CPHD volunteers at any square asking you to wear helmet or put seatbelt, just be cautious!
CPHD team celebrated Holi with the residents of an old age home to bring joy and happiness to their lives. Many seniors in these facilities feel isolated and lonely, and a festive event like Holi can provide a sense of community and connection.
The volunteers arranged for music, dancing, and colorful decorations to lift the spirits of the dada dadis and nana nanis. We also involve the residents in the planning and preparation of the event. This help them feel valued and included, and give them a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
It is a rewarding experience for everyone as we connect with the seniors and make a positive impact in their lives. We keep conducting such drives and make it a culture to spend some time with the seniors.
In our society menstruation is associated with shame, impurity, and secrecy. The struggles that women face during menstruation can be physical, emotional, and social. What's worse than the pain of periods is that nobody talks about it openly. CPHD believes that it is important to break down the stigma and promote education and awareness about menstruation in order to create a more equitable and inclusive society.
With "The Untaught Chapter", we aim to create a platform where we talk about menstruation and the myths associated with it. By openly discussing menstruation and promoting menstrual health, we can help break down harmful gender stereotypes and promote gender equity. CPHD Team conducts awareness sessions on menstrual hygiene in the slums and rural areas where there is lack of education. We distribute sanitary napkins to the under privileged girls and women and motivate them to be vocal about any problems they face during periods.
